Queso,Cheese,Fromage

This blog is called Queso,Cheese,Fromage, and it would be incomplete without a list of my favorite cheeses. Enjoy!

Blue:
St. Agur- a creamy, buttery and light cow blue cheese from Beauzac, France
Bleu du bocage- a medium/strong goat blue winter cheese from Pays de la Loire, France
Fourme D'ambert- one of France's oldest cheeses, semi hard cow blue cheese from Ambert, France
Valdeón- a sharp blue cheese from Léon, Spain (enjoyed with honey and fruits)
Stilton- a young and creamy English cow milk cheese

Époisses de Bourgogne- a strong in smell and in taste cow's milk cheese that nearly melts in your mouth
Humboldt Fog- a goat cheese from California with a semi-soft center engulfed in a layer of soft creamy cheese with a line of ash in its center for a smoky taste
Harbison- a creamy, piney creamy cheese from Jasper Hill, Vermont

Caprotto- a hard aged goat cheese from Italy
Ewephoria- a semi sweet sheep gouda from Holland, nutty and crystalized for a crunch

I usually enjoy my cheese by itself but the stronger blue cheeses usually taste great with honey, nuts, dried fruit, jams or some toast or crackers.
That's it for now...I will always be adding to this list as I discover more!
